we moved + shared girls bedroom

Hey friends! It has been forever and a day since I updated my blog. I still really need to do a home tour which I promise I will get to, but first I will just show you the girls bedroom!

We decided to move the girls into a shared room because there was one SUPER HUGE room in our house and it didn’t make sense for it to be just for one of the girls! So far they have been loving their room together and having a blast.

So excuse the mess, but here are some before pics!

First things first, I repainted over the blindingly bright blue walls- here is a progress pic:

Here is my inspiration pic/ mood board. I always like to start a room refresh with a mood board of ideas so I can see how things will fit together before I commit to doing anything!

Can you believe I found this rattan cabinet ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD for FREE?! It is the perfect boho accent for the girls room – I couldn’t be more in love!
