this weekend we were able to slow down a bit more and really enjoy foods! it was also the first time claire got to really try finger foods. we whipped out our ezpz mat – which, btw, is our favorite thing ever! it is silicone and dishwasher/microwave safe, plus it sticks to the high chair!

saturday morning i was flying solo because seth went home to hunt with his uncles. i served claire some blueberry puffs (she is obsessed), 0% fage greek yogurt with blackberry and raspberry puree, and a side of eggs. for her eggs, i mixed two egg yolks (no egg whites here yet!) with pureed kale and a little breast milk. they were soft, fluffy and so easy for her to mash on!

sunday, seth was home so i had a little bit more time to get claire’s meal ready! i did shredded mozzarella cheese, avocado + pineapple, and the kale eggs again. she absolutely DEVOURED the cheese! she must get that from her mama 😉
do you make special foods for you littles on the weekends? we are excited to try kodiak cakes pancakes the next time we have a home weekend. seth is the pancake master at our house 😉
